In a heart-stopping match, Gerdau Minas pulled off a dramatic 3-2 victory (25-15, 25-22, 26-28, 24-26, 20-18) over Osasco, securing the provisional lead in the Brazilian Superliga. After dominating the first two sets, Minas saw Osasco fight back, forcing a tie-break where the home team trailed 2-8 before mounting an incredible comeback.

Kisy Nascimento (24 points) and Yonkaira Peña (20 points) led the scoring for Minas, while libero Erica Motta Lima – Kika earned the VivaVôlei MVP for her clutch performance. Tifanny Abreu (27 points) was Osasco’s standout and match top scorer.
