
Dentil Praia Clube advanced to the semifinals of the Brazilian Women’s Volleyball Superliga after a decisive victory over Sesi Bauru in Uberlândia. The result secured a 2–1 triumph in the best-of-three quarterfinal series and extended the club’s streak to ten consecutive semifinal appearances.
Leading the charge was Morgan Fingall, who delivered 17 points and earned MVP honors. On the other side, Roslandy Acosta paced Sesi Bauru with 10 points.
The win also marked a measure of redemption for Praia Clube, which had been eliminated by the same opponent at the semifinal stage last season.
Next, Praia Clube will face regular-season leaders Sesc RJ Flamengo in the semifinals. The other matchup features Gerdau Minas against Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde.
