SESI – Maringá
In front of the home crowd, in “Vila Leopoldina” gymnasium, the team from São Paulo defeated Ziober Maringá Vôlei by 3 sets to 0, with partial 25-20, 25-20 and 25-22, taking 2-1 in the best-out-of-three series of the quarterfinal.
One of the SESI’s highlights in the third game was Lucão with 19 points, getting six in the block, while Marcelinho received the MVP award.
Diogo and Rivaldo stood out on the side of Maringá , both with 11 points.
In the semifinals of Super League, SESI expects the winner of the clash between Taubaté/Funvic and Vôlei Canoas (1-1), scheduled for Wednesday.
