RIO 2016 W: Brazil crushed Cameroon, Thaisa did not play

Brazil had no problems at the start of the Olympics - straight sets win over Cameroon.

The hosts of the Olympic Games 2016 wrote down their first win in the women’s volleyball tournament. Brazil simply crushed Cameroon in a game which lasted just more than an hour.

Fernanda Garay was the top scorer in the winning side with 12 points, while Natalia Pereira added 10.

It is also important to mention that Thaisa Menezes did not play in this game, as she is still recovering from calf injury.
