A 33-year-old rookie in the Women’s Superliga Tifanny made an exquisite outset in the tournament upon signing with Vôlei Bauru, who was the only club willing to bet on her this season.
In a 3-1 defeat to Fluminense F.C. on Friday, Tifanny set her new scoring record by pouring in 30 points. In only three matches in Superliga, she already has 70 points in her account: 15 points in her debut in a 3-2 defeat to São Cristóvão Saúde/São Caetano, 25 points in a 3-1 win against Esporte Clube Pinheiros and finally 30 points versus Fluminense. These numbers made Tifanny the player with the best points per game average in the competition. She has 5 points per set in Superliga, surpassing Tandara Caixeta from Vôlei Nestlé (Osasco) who has 4.88 points.
