This time, Sesc-RJ were without mercy against Camponesa/Minas. They defeated them in straight sets (25-16, 25-21, 25-14) and now they are one step closer to the big final. Drussyla Costa was named for the MVP of the match and got the VivoVolei trophy.
The third match is scheduled for Saturday, March 31.
In the second semifinal, Volei Nestle outplayed Dentil/Praia Clube with 3-1 (25-17, 25-23, 20-25, 25-14) and came to 1-1 in series.
Once again Tandara Caixeta was the top scorer of the match and MVP. She scored 23 points followed by María Ángela Leyva (13), Ana Beatriz Correa (12) and Mariana Paraiba (11). On the opponent’s side, Fe Garay (14) and Walewska (10) led the team but this time without success.
Their third match is also scheduled for March 31 while the fourth will be played on April 3.
