A 26-year-old Ricardo Lucarelli has finally trained without restrictions after six months of recovery from the Achilles tendon surgery, media in Brazil reported.
The outside hitter of EMS Taubaté Funvic missed the most of the 2017/18 Superliga, including playoffs. Precisely, Lucarelli did not compete since November 25, 2017.
“His rehabilitation is almost over, there are no restrictions. Taubaté players return for training with him on July 2. In August, he will be available if he is called to the national team,” Taubaté physiotherapist said.
This means that Lucarelli will be at the disposal of Brazil head coach Renan Dal Zotto for the 2018 FIVB World Championship!
