Vakifbank have defeated the Bulgarian side in three sets to secure a spot in the next round. Lonneke Sloetjes ended the game with 19 points, while Zhu Ting contributed with 16 points. On the other side, Miroslava Paskova scored 14.
Fenerbahce have also scored a 3-0 victory to qualify for the next round. They downed Chemik Police in straight sets to continue winning streak in Pool F. Melissa Vargas and Samantha Bricio were the best scorers with 19 points each.
Karsta Lowe was a key player in Imoco’s amazing comeback against German side SC Schwerin. The U.S. player got into the starting six as of the third set, at the result 2-0 for the away side.
She led the team to a great turnaround with 21 points, while Robin de Kruijf and Kimberly Hill contributed with 14 points each.
