CL W: Minchanka and RC Cannes set new record of the CEV Champions League

by WoV

Two teams provided a real volleyball show, especially in the first set, when both sides played 90 rallies!

According to the CEV, it’s the longest set in the women’s CEV Champions League.

Unfortunately for the home crowd, the French side managed to win this part of the game and to take the lead in sets 1-0.

However, we saw a great answer from the Belarus champion, who is currently playing in the Russian women’s elite league. They managed to make a comeback and to score the first win in the Champions League season 2018/2019.

Two players in Minchanka had great displays: Bohdana Anisova and Hanna Hryshkevich, who scored 25 points each. On the other side, Christina Bauer ended the game with 22 points, while Adela Helic added 17.
