Tine Urnaut was the best scorer with 16 points, Mitja Gasparini contributed with 12. In Turkey, Burak Gungor ended the match with 13 points.
In Pool D, Czech Republic scored an important win to stay in the race for the 1/8 finals of the EuroVolley. Jan Hadrava led the team with 23 points.
