Friedrichshafen-vs-Zaksa

ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle beat VfB Friedrichshafen on the road in straight sets in the third round of the 2020 Champions League – Pool E. Thus, not only the Polish champions remained unbeaten in the competition so far, but also remained the only team that didn’t concede a single set. ZAKSA recorded victory even though they came to Germany without two starters: Łukasz Kaczmarek and Piotr Łukasik. Italian Simone Parodi and Hungarian Árpád Baróti were ZAKSA’s top scorers tonight with 16 points each. North Macedonian Nikola Gjorgiev delivered 15 points for Friedrichshafen.

German champions Berlin Recycling Volleys are helpless against Russian teams this season. After losing to Fakel Novy Urengoy, a week ago, they now lost to the Russian titleholders Kuzbass Kemerovo by a 3-1. The encounter was played in Pool B.
