The reigning Greek champions Olympiacos beat Russian side Yenisei in the opening of the 1/8 finals of the 2020 Challenge Cup by a 3-1 (21-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-18) and gained a significant advantage for the rematch at home in which they will have to take only 2 sets to advance to the quarterfinals.
Serbian Ana Živojinović (ex-Lazarević) top-scored for the “Red and White” with 20 points, while American Regan Hood-Scott and Cypriot Katerina Zakchaiou made 5 kill blocks apiece. Serbian Marta Drpa tallied 22 points for Yenisei. Nataliya Nazarova set up 5 kill blocks.
