Greek champions and undefeated side in the current season in Greece, Olympiacos Piraeus, have increased their chances of winning the third-tier European club competition by eliminating the team that comes from a highly strong Russian league, Yenisei Krasnoyarsk, in the 8th finals. Olympiacos repeated good performance from the first leg and achieved another 4-set victory to advance to the quarterfinals: 3-1 (25-21, 25-17, 23-25, 26-24). German Saskia Hippe led winners with 15 points, while Katerina Zakchaiou made 5 kill blocks. Serbian Marta Drpa was without proper support in Yenisei, pouring in 25 points.

Béziers VB and Dresdner SC took first 2 sets, which was their main goal in their rematches, against Pölkky Kuusamo and Ştiinţa Bacău, and secured a place in the quarterfinals.
