After Turkey and France secured their berths in the semis on the third day of the competition, both from Pool II, the outcomes of today’s matches determined one more semifinal participant – the national team of Belarus.

In Pool I in Zenica (BIH), they prevailed over Poland after a huge fight and after being two sets ahead of rivals: 3-2 (25-23, 25-23, 19-25, 19-25, 15-12). Kseniya Liabiodkina became the most productive player of Belarus with 24 points, while Darya Burak contributed to a win with 4 kill blocks.

In the same pool, Slovakia defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina by a 3-1 to score their first win in the tournament. However, neither of these two teams has chances to advance to the semis. In a direct duel tomorrow, Serbia and Poland will fight for the remaining spot in the semifinals.
