The Romanian champions Alba are the big favorites to qualify for the final of the 2021 Women’s Challenge Cup after beating Hungary’s Kaposvár by a 3-0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-16 ) in the 1st leg of the semis. Ioana Maria Baciu was the top scorer on the winning side with 16 points. Russian Irina Malkova and Serbian Bojana Čelić set up 4 blocks apiece.
The return is in Hungary on March 3.
