During the medal ceremony of the Men’s EuroVolley 2021, the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) announced the MVP of the tournament – the Italy National Team captain Simone Giannelli.
The title of MVP of the 2021 CEV Men’s European Championships came from the winning team. The setter and captain of Italy, Giannelli, took this award after perfectly conducting the play of his team throughout the tournament which the ‘Azzurri’ finished with nine victories in as many games.
