The race for semifinal berths in the Men’s CEV Champions League continued with a quarterfinal match held at Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin between Berlin Recycling Volleys and Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia.

The Italian team dominated the game in all aspects, with their blocking (15-7) and serve (10-3 in aces). Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia defeated Berlin Recycling Volleys 3-1 (25-18, 25-15, 23-25, 25-17).

Marek Sotola of Berlin was the match top scorer with 18 points and a 52% success rate in attack. Following closely behind were Perugia’s trio of Kamil Rychlicki and Wilfredo Leon, both with 16 points, and Oleh Plotnytskyi with 15 points. Kamil Rychlicki managed to stand out by earning the title of MVP with 13 points in attack and 3 block points to his name.
