Another thrilling Wednesday evening unfolded in the CEV Champions League as Vasas Óbuda Budapest faced off against the Eczacibasi Dynavit Istanbul. Eczacibasi emerging victorious with a 1-3 win (15-25, 16-25, 25-20, 22-25).

Eczacibasi displayed dominance from the outset, taking a significant lead in the first set and closing it at 15-25. The second set mirrored the first, with the Turkish team’s control leading to a 16-25 win. Vasas Óbuda Budapest fought back in the third set, claiming it 25-20, but Eczacibasi secured the match in the fourth set with a 22-25 victory. Tijana Bošković shone as the most valuable player, scoring 28 points with three kill blocks.

In another match, Savino Del Bene Scandicci achieved their goal of entering the final challenge of Pool B with a perfect score, defeating Maritza Plovdiv 3-0 (20-25, 14-25, 16-25). Ekaterina Antropova was the game’s MVP, contributing 16 points, including 5 successful blocks. Linda Nwakalor also impressed with 10 points, featuring 4 aces and 3 blocks.
