In today’s EuroVolley Qualifiers, Türkiye celebrated their first victory in their 2026 campaign with a dominant 3-0 win over Hungary. Held at the TVF Ziraat Bankkart Volleyball Hall in Ankara, the Turkish team, under coach Umut Cakir, triumphed with set scores of 25-11, 25-10, and 25-17. This win places Türkiye in second place in Pool A, behind Denmark who leads with two victories. Bedirhan Bülbül and Adis Lagumdzija led the charge for Türkiye, contributing 15 and 14 points respectively.
In other matches, Chechia defeated Norway 3-0 in Pool C, maintaining their perfect record, while Greece outplayed Georgia 3-0 in Pool F to stay atop the standings with two wins.
