In today’s EuroVolley qualifiers, Germany, Slovenia, and Romania secured wins in their respective matches.
Germany Outplays Finland 3-0
Germany’s women’s team continued their strong performance with a decisive 3-0 victory over Finland. The match, held at the PALMBERG Arena in Schwerin, saw Germany dominate with superior attack, blocking, and serving stats, though they recorded more errors than their opponents. Lena Kinderman led with 13 points, supported by Anastasia Cekulaev with 8 points. Germany tops Pool A with two wins from two games, while Finland remains without a victory.
Slovenia Beats Estonia 3-0
Slovenia’s women’s team also posted a 3-0 win against Estonia in Črnuče. Following their Tuesday win over Israel, Slovenia is now leading Pool C with six points. Mija Šiftar and Lorena Lorber Fijok were standout performers, scoring 13 and 12 points respectively.
Romania Defeats Kosovo 3-0
In the final match of the day, Romania secured a straight-set victory over Kosovo, moving them into second place in Pool G. Croatia remains at the top of the pool, having previously defeated both Romania and Kosovo in straight sets.
