Bulgaria showcased their defensive prowess early on, winning the first set 25-21 with 6 blocks. France, however, adjusted in the second and third sets, dominating with precise spikes and improved blocking. The final set saw a nail-biting exchange, with both teams vying for control, but France edged out Bulgaria 28-26 to secure the match.

Adrien Roure led France with 19 points, contributing 2 aces and 2 blocks. The win completes a “Grand Slam” for France, as their seniors won Olympic Games, U22 and U18 teams also claimed European titles earlier this year.

Meanwhile, the Czech Republic defeated Ukraine 3-1 to claim the bronze medal.
