Fenerbahçe Medicana Istanbul and Igor Gorgonzola Novara opened Round 4 of the CEV ZEREN Group Champions League Volley 2026 with victories, setting an early pace in the competition. In Istanbul, Fenerbahçe swept group-stage newcomers Sport Lisboa e Benfica 3–0, controlling the match from start to finish despite missing several starters. Arina Fedorovtseva led the home side with 21 points, including six aces, as Fenerbahçe dominated from the serve line and outperformed Benfica in blocking and transition play. The visitors showed resilience in their Champions League debut but could not keep up with the Turkish club’s pressure, falling 25–18, 25–19, 25–12.

In Łódź, Novara overcame a slow start to earn a 3–1 win over PGE Budowlani. After dropping the opening set, Novara tightened its reception and found its rhythm behind Tatiana Tolok’s 25 points and an energizing performance from MVP Lina Alsmeier, who came off the bench to steady the Italian attack. The visitors took control in the final three sets, winning 25–19, 25–23 and 25–17. Budowlani stayed competitive through Maja Storck and Rodica Buterez, who each scored 19 points.
