Eczacibasi Vitra
In the first semi-final on Saturday, April 22 Eczacıbaşı VitrA İSTANBUL will play against VakifBank ISTANBUL . This will be a remake of the match from 2015 when they won their first, historic CEV Champions League crown.
Eczacibasi VitrA are making their sixth appearance in the Final Four of the CEV Volleyball Champions League – they ended up in fourth place in 2001, 2002, 2009 and 2014, before seizing gold two years ago in Szczecin (Poland).
Eczacibasi will play at F4 with the most powerful lineup: Maja Ognjenović – Tijana Bošković, Jordan Larson – Tatiana Kosheleva, Rachael Adams – Büsra Kilicli (Thaisa Daher Pallesi injured), libero Gulden Kayalar.
Despite all the great players, Eczacibasi have Jordan Larson who was the best female volleyball player in 2014 and 2015 by the choice of WorldofVolley because in 2014 she won Triple Crown with Dinamo Kazan while next year she was MVP of the CEV Champions League and MVP of the World volleyball Club Championship after her club Eczacibasi VitrA won the gold medals on both competitions. In 2016 her country selected her for the USA volleyball Female Indoor Player of the Year.
