For the second time in two weeks, The Polish runners-up Skra defeated Dinamo from Russia in Pool C in their seventh mutual encounter ever, getting close to the Playoffs 12 promotion, 3-1 (25-23, 22-25, 25-22, 25-13).
Skra players had the wind at their back coming from the stands of Atlas Arena in Łódź in which the club moved for this game. So, instead of having 2,500 spectators cheering for them at their regular home ground, Energia gymnasium, nearly 10,000 fans gave the support to the protégés of Roberto Piazza tonight. And it paid them off.
