French volleyball federation reveals names of cities that will host EuroVolley 2019

The French volleyball federation (FFV) announced the names of the venues that will host the 2019 CEV Men’s European Championship, on September 13-29.

Montpellier, Nantes, and Paris were chosen to host the part of EuroVolley 2019 which went to France, one of the four co-organizers of the tournament. The other three countries (Slovenia, Belgium, and The Netherlands) are yet to reveal the names of the venues which will embrace a total of 24 national teams.

Montpellier, Nantes, and Paris beat the other 22 cities that were in contention to host the European Championship, as the FFV wanted to cover the entire country.

Venues:

La Sud de France Arena, Montpellier: the capacity of 8,000 seats, will host the 15 games of the pool stage of France national team (probably Pool A) on September 13 to 19.

Le Hall XXL, Nantes: the capacity of 9,000 seats, an adjustable venue located within the Exhibition Center, will host two rounds of Top 16 and the quarter-final on September 21-23 (dates to be confirmed).

AccorHotels Arena, Paris: the capacity of 15,000 seats, will host one semifinal, the match for third place and the final, on September 27, 28 and 29.
