In the last matches of the pool stage, Italy outplayed Cyprus with 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-20), Camilla Mingardi (14) and Anna Nicoletti (11) were the top scorers of the match.
Croatia defeated France in the derby and took the first position in Pool C. Match was finished 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-19) and Samanta Fabris once again was the leader with 26 points.
Portugal scored their first win in Pool D by defeating Algeria 3-0 (25-7, 25-20, 25-21). Juliana Antunes scored 12 points for the winning team while Yasmine Abderrahim scored 14 points for Algeria.

* The formula of the competition is simple; the first two teams from all four groups will qualify to the quarterfinals. Women’s will play their ¼ Final matches on June 28 and teams from Groups A will be crossed with teams from Group B while teams from Group C and D will face in the matches for semifinals. The semifinals are scheduled for June 30 while the Final and match for the bronze medal for July 1.
