Volero Zurich outplayed Dinamo Krasnodar on the road in the opening match of the 2016/17 CEV Women's Champions League.

The Swiss champions collected all 3 points on a tough away court and sent a message that they will once again be among the top favorites to win this competition. Volero had 4 players with double-digits in this match. The top scorer in the winning side was Olesia Rykhliuk with 23 points, Kenia Carcaces added 15, Foluke Akinradewo made 14, while Dobriana Rabadzieva collected 10 points.

At the same time, Olesya Nikolaeva was the only one in Dinamo Krasnodar to make 10+ points today. She finished the match with 11 points.
