It is possible that the 2016/17 CEV Champions League Final Four will be made out of teams which comes from just two countries.

Modena

Sir Safety Perugia will definitely play at the 2016/17 CEV Champions League Final Four as they are the hosts, while Italy will have the 2nd representative at this tournament. The only question is whether it will be Modena or Lube, who face each other in the Playoffs 6 stage.

Therefore, Serie A1 has already showed its strength at the international level.

But, Italy is not the only country who may have 2 teams at the Final Four. Russia is also close to complete that achievement.

Russia will definitely have 1 team in Rome, as Zenit Kazan and Belogorie Belgorod will fight for the F4 ticket in the Playoffs 6 stage, while Dinamo Moscow might win the 2nd ticket for Russia as they will play against German champions BR Volleys in the Playoffs 6.

As you can see, at the upcoming CEV Champions League Final Four there will be no Polish teams, French teams, Turkish teams, Greek teams… What is the reason?
