This was their 180th victory in a row (in the championship and cup and therefore also the cup victory 2017). Team from Zurich has succeeded in all finals in the past 13 years.
Volero celebrated the big victory in front of 2300 spectators in St-Leonard-Halle in Friborg.
After the match the Swiss Volley Indoor Awards were awarded. Volero’s middle blocker Foluke Akinradewo has been named for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the current season.
