FIN M: VaLePa sweep Hurrikaani in best-of-seven series to win title after three years

VaLePa Sastamala took their third gold medal in the Finnish Men’s Volleyball Championship (Lentopallon Mestaruusliiga).

No. 2 VaLePa defeated top seed Hurrikaani-Loimaa in the playoff finals by a 4-0 in series, beating the rivals in Game 4 after huge fight 3-2 (22-25, 25-21, 22-25, 25-22, 15-12) to repeat the success they made in the national championship in 2012 and 2014.

Urpo Sivula led VaLePa to win in the fourth game with 33 points, followed by Olli Kunnari with 21. Mikko Oivanen with 25 and Eemeli Kouki with 22 highlighted Hurrikaani.
