Gentofte
Gentofte Volley wrecked ASV Århus on the road in Round 9 to remain unbeaten in the Danish men’s VolleyLigaen, 3-0 (25-14, 25-23, 25-14). The opposite Peter Trolle Bonnesen highlighted Gentofte with 17 points, being the only player with double digits in the winning team.
Thanks to 12 points from the veteran opposite Martin Bülow-Nielsen, the defending champions Boldklubben Marienlyst beat the team that was at the top of the standings, three rounds ago, Ishøj Volley by a 3-0, but still have a negative record, 4-5. As for Ishøj, who lost their third game in a row, they signed up only eight players for the match. This does not happen often when it comes to national championships.
