The defending champions Linköpings VC confidently march towards No.1 in the regular stage as they made the 14th straight win in Elitserien.

Thanks to 13 points from Albin Eriksson, 4 kill blocks apiece from Carl Ahremark and Andreas Eriksson, 70% team reception and 100% reception (7 digs) from their libero Johan Eriksson, Linköpings swept eighth-placed Tierp, who secured the playoff (top 8 teams will advance to the playoffs) spot since they have 19 points more from the ninth-placed RIG Falköping, in Weekend 5. Kristen Obrien scored 16 points (3 kill blocks) for Tierp today.
