Just like last year, Volley Amriswil and Biogas Volley Näfels will play the final match of the 2018 Schweizer Cup.

In the semifinals, Volley Amriswil swept TSV Jona Volleyball at home by a 3-0 despite being deprived of the help of two starters – the best scorer Sébastien Steigmeier and  Roman Brühwiler.

In the other semifinal, Biogas Volley Näfels beat Chênois Genève Volleyball in the much more exciting encounter, 3-1, also at the home ground.

In the final game in Freiburg on March 31, Amriswil will seek their fifth gold medal in the tournament, while Näfels will have the chance to win their ninth trophy.
