WCH 2018 M: First win for Serbia at the World Champs

by WoV

Serbia have recorded the first victory at the World Championship!

Serbia

Serbia

Even though the first was very difficult to play, as it was an extended set, Serbia somehow set the control and won it. In the other two sets, Serbia didn’t have any troubles.

In the third set, Nikola Grbic was not satisfied with the reaction of his players since Cameroon started decreasing the lead, however,  yelling at the players during the time-out helped a lot as the boys from Serbia woke up and clinched the game in three sets.

Nikola Grbic combined for this game, keeping Uros Kovacevic, Aleksandar Atanasijevic (played a few minutes) and Marko Podrascanin on the bench. The top scorer was Drazen Luburic with 19 points, while Nemanja Petric added 12.
