We have contacted him to drop some comments about the Bulgarian team’s performances so far.
What is your impression about Bulgaria’s performances in the Pool D?
“We played three good games against the teams that are under our level and one bad game with Iran. In a match against Poland, we performed well but I must say that the Polish team was better than us in the key moment.”
Bulgaria will play in Pool G in the second round, along with USA, Iran and Canada.
“About the second group, I think we are going to watch great battles against USA, Iran and Canada. There are no easy opponents and if we make three out of three, we can dream about the final six. I think, it’s gonna be a difficult task because we already lost two games and now the defeats are not allowed in our case,” explains Georgi Bratoev.
