With two medals in the competition, bronze in Japan 2010 and silver in Italy 2014, the Brazilian middle blocker emphasized that this will be the most special competition for her.
“For me, it will be different from all the others. And the closer it gets, the more anxiety strikes. The World Championship is a very competitive competition, in which all the teams arrive very strong and prepared. But, with all the girls, with the complete team, with each knowing the points that can improve, we have everything to make a great World Championship. We are all training good and very focused” said Thaisa De Menezes, who will play her first important competitions with the Brazilian team since Rio 2016 Olympic Games, and after the delicate surgery of the left knee.
