WCH 2018 M: Poland eliminate Italy to schedule the clash vs. USA!

by WoV

Poland took the first set in a decisive game against Italy which was enough to take the top place in Pool I at the FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship.

It was obvious that Italy performed under a huge pressure as they needed a 3-0 win with a huge point difference in each set, however, Vital Heynen’s side blew the hopes of the co-hosts and grabbed the ticket for the semis.

After this result, Poland have scheduled the meeting against the USA in the semifinals, while Serbia will play against Brazil in the other semifinal pair.
