WCH 2018 W: First ever victory for Cameroon at World Championship

Cameroon opened the 2018 FIVB World Championship in Japan with a historic victory over Mexico.

Laeticia Crescence Moma Bassoko was top scorer with 21 points assisted by Christelle Nana Tchoudjang and Stephanie Fotso Mogoung who contributed 15 and 10. On the Mexican side, the captain Andrea Rangel was their key player who scored 20 points.

The match was finished happily on the Cameroon side 3-1 (17-25, 25-23, 25-16, 25-21).

In the next match, Cameroon will face Germany while Mexico clash with Argentina.
