WCH 2018 W: Goncharova won clash against Rahimova

In Pool C in Kobe, Russia scored their third victory at the FIVB World Championship.

Today, Russia defeated Azerbaijan in straight sets (25-21, 25-21, 25-22) although Nataliya Goncharova and Polina Rahimova led a serious war on the net.

In the end, Rahimova finished the match as the top scorer with 19 points but Goncharova with 17 points led her team to the victory.

Ksenija Parubets was the second best player in the Russian team with 13 points while Odina Aliyeva Bayramova scored 8 points for Azerbaijan.

During this match, we saw 20 blocks from both sides (11 Russia, 9 Azerbaijan) but Ekaterina Efimova dominated with 6 blocks.
