“I’m very happy with the victory. I was sure before the match that it would be a very tough one for us. I know a lot of players of Resovia, they are very important players with international experience, with good quality. In the first set, our service did not work and Resovia kept pushing us on the serve, especially at the end. I am happy with our reaction, especially at the beginning of the second set. I am very happy with the victory because we all wanted to play in the final. We know Trentino very well of course and also Fakel because we were in the same group. We are going to play a difficult final against a strong club. It does not matter who we will play against, we will do everything to win the match,” says Giampaolo Medei, Lube coach.
“The pressure appeared in some moments when the score was level, like 17-17 and it’s just because we did not score at the first possibility. We had a chance, we started well in the fourth set, then we made technical errors,” says Gheorghe Cretu, Resovia Coach.
