by WoV

We are close to having the first team that has won the ticket for the Tokyo Olympics from the qualification tournament.

Brazil and the Dominican Republic are playing today for the spot at the Olympic Games since these two teams have scored two wins each in Pool D.

Brazil have barely managed to defeat Azerbaijan in the tie-break after being down 2-1 in sets, while the Dominican Republic didn’t have any difficulties in a game against Cameroon.

Gabi was the best scorer in Brazil’s win over Azerbaijan with 18 points, while Polina Rahimova ended the game with 26 points on the other side.
