Poland had no problems in the match of the seventh round of the 2021 Men’s VNL against Bulgaria. The players coached by Vital Heynen won in three sets and improved to 6-1 in the tournament to earn a top spot in the charts: 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-12). The Belgian expert gave a day off to Kubiak, Kurek, Semeniuk, and Bieniek, while Bulgaria missed its biggest star, Tsvetan Sokolov. Poland was led by Bartosz Bednorz (14 points).

With 20 points of Yoandy Leal, Brazil beat The Netherlands in straight sets, partially 25-19, 25-22, and 27-25, winning the sixth game of the competition and settled just behind Poland on the table.

“It was a good game, although we started the third set a little more confused. But Leal saved us in the third set to reach the goal of winning three more points in the League of Nations,” said after the match Maurício de Souza, who contributed to the victory of the ‘Seleção’ with 4 blocks.
