VNL W: Russia brutal on Serbia, leaving rival on single digits in one of sets

The Russia National Team was brutal on Serbia at the closing of the fourth week of the 2021 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League.

Russia is on the run in the 2021 Women’s VNL. ’Zbornaya’ brutally swept Serbia on Day 12, conceding only 8 points in the first of a total of 3 sets. Arina Fedorovtseva (12 points) and Irina Koroleva (4 blocks and 4 aces) led Russia to the third win in a row.

Japan improved to 9-3 after beating Belgium in 4 sets, inflicting the third successive defeat to the ’Yellow Tigers’. Sarina Koga top-scored the Asian side with 21 points, while Mako Kobata had 77.8 % digs (15/18).
