Pools for 2022 Men’s World Championship determined in draw in Moscow

The Drawing of Lots for the 2022 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship was held in Moscow, Russia.

The Drawing of Lots for the 2022 FIVB Men’s World Championship (August 26 to September 11) that was held in Moscow, Russia, the host nation of the event, divided 24 national teams into six groups of four. The 16 national teams will secure the placement in the next phase of the competition –  the two best national teams from each group, as well as the four best third-placed sides.

The matches of the World Championship in Russia will be played in 10 cities: Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Ufa, Ekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Kazan, Kaliningrad, and Yaroslavl).

POOL A – Moscow (opening match in St. Petersburg): Russia, Serbia, Tunisia, Puerto Rico

POOL B – Kemerovo: Brazil, Japan, Cuba, Qatar

POOL C – Novosibirsk: Poland, USA, Mexico, Bulgaria

POOL D – Ufa: France, Slovenia, Germany, Cameroon

POOL E – Ekaterinburg: Italy, Canada, Turkey, China

POOL F – Krasnoyarsk: Argentina, Iran, The Netherlands, Egypt
