CSM Volei Alba Blaj are the new winners of the Romanian Women’s Volleyball Super Cup.
In the match of the 2021 Romanian Women’s Super Cup (Supercupa României la volei feminin) played in Brașov, CSM Volei Alba Blaj defeated the national champions CSM Târgoviște with the score of 3-1 (25-15, 22-25, 25-15, 25-16) in the match that, except for the set second, they had under control all the time. It was the second Super Cup played between these two teams after the one in 2016 when today’s losers prevailed with a score of 3-2. And then the winners of the trophy were the holders of the Romanian Cup, not the national champions.
Bulgarian Gergana Dimitrova scored 17 points for Alba tonight.
