ACH Volley Ljubljana has officially presented its new roster updates at a press conference held in Ljubljana’s City Hall, confirming the return of several experienced players and coaching staff.
Taking center stage were:
- Tine Urnaut
- Alen Pajenk
- Tonček Štern
- Gregor Ropret
- Igor Kolaković (Head Coach)
- Dragan Kobiljski (Assistant Coach)
Tine Urnaut re-joins the club after a season with Nagoya in Japan and a title win with Al Rayyan SC in the ACV Champions League. Alen Pajenk returns following his time with Olympiacos in Greece. Tonček Štern arrives from Ziraat, the reigning champions of Turkey, while Gregor Ropret comes back to Slovenia after playing in Poland for Resovia.
On the coaching side, Igor Kolaković resumes his role as head coach, after guiding Halkbank Ankara to the CEV Champions League Final Four (llater he was relieved of his duties as the club’s head coach and did not lead the team for the remainder of the season). He is joined by assistant Dragan Kobiljski, reviving a partnership from their previous tenure with the club between 2010 and 2012.
