The Croatia Women’s Volleyball National Team achieved historic success.
With the victory in the final of the 2022 FIVB Challenger Cup at home in Zadar, the Croatia National Team earned a place in the world elite – the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Nations League. The Belgians were the favorites not only in the final match but also in the entire tournament, but the strong Croatian girls defeated them in the decider 3-1 (25-20, 21-25, 25-22, 25-21). Thus, Croatia has qualified for the VNL, for the first time in their history.
Samanta Fabris showed her class in the gold medal encounter and pushed her side to the elite of world volleyball national teams, scoring 31 points against the ‘Yellow Tigers’.
