The FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship is heating up, with the semifinal lineup now confirmed. As the pool stage nears its conclusion, four teams have secured their spots for the much-anticipated semifinals. China’s Tianjin Bohai Bank, Türkiye’s Eczacibasi Dynavit Istanbul, Brazil’s Dentil Praia Clube, and Türkiye’s VakifBank Spor Kulubu have outplayed their competitors to advance.
Eczacibasi and Tianjin Lead Pool A
Eczacibasi Dynavit dominated Gerdau Minas with a 3-0 victory (25-19, 25-11, 25-18). Their win not only cemented their place in the semifinals but also propelled hosts Tianjin Bohai Bank to the last four. This marks Tianjin’s first semifinal appearance in three attempts. Serbian captain Tijana Boskovic (17pts) and Russian outside hitter Irina Voronkova (13pts) were standout performers.
Dentil Praia and VakifBank Dominate Pool B
Dentil Praia Clube showcased their prowess by defeating Vietnam’s Sport Center I Women’s Club in straight sets (25-10, 25-22, 27-25). Their victory ensured a semifinal spot for the second time in the club’s history. Tainara Santos with 24 points and Sofya Kuznetsova with 12 led Dentil Praia Clube to victory.
