In a fiercely contested match filled with rallies, Brazil’s women’s volleyball team edged out Japan 3-2 (24-26, 26-24, 19-25, 25-20, 15-11) in their first game of the second week of the Nations League in Macau, China. Gabi led the scoring for Brazil with 24 points. The team, coached by José Roberto Guimarães, remains undefeated with five wins and will face the Netherlands next on Thursday.
