Brazil Prevails in Clash of Undefeated Teams

In one of the most anticipated matches of the Volleyball Nations League 2024, Brazil triumphed over Poland 3-1 (22-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-16) in Hong Kong, Pool 5 tournament. Both teams entered the court undefeated, but Brazil, led by captain Gabriela ‘Gabi’ Guimarães’ 24 points, emerged victorious. This win places Brazil at the top of the VNL standings with nine wins and 25 points, ahead of Poland’s eight wins and 24 points.

Turkey Dominates Thailand

Defending champions Turkey extended their winning streak to six with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-17) victory over Thailand. Outside hitter Hande Baladin led the scoring with 14 points. Turkey is now fifth in the standings with seven wins.

Other Matches

In Fukuoka, Pool 6 matches, the Netherlands defeated Serbia 3-1, and Japan overcame South Korea in straight sets 3-0.
